The Solution

The Oriton r33 Support System is a modular construction. Each level of the r33 comprises a frame, constructed from several materials, each chosen for their properties. Carbon fibre for its lightness and with it the reduction of energy storage; and as energy is stored by mass, the lighter the frame the less delay, co-polymers which form the integral part of the frame and stainless steel, bringing it all together.

Each frame of the r33 has four recesses in which sits the shelf support cones, these link the shelves to the frame. The design of the cone is the matching of rigid and compliant materials giving optimal vibration control, the design allows the cone tip to move in relation to the cone shell, front to back, side to side and rotationally, reducing repeated vibrations of the original vibrations, When completely assembled the shelf support cones tip locates inside the shelf, giving the shortest path between cone and equipment.

Shelves are 20mm Acrylic, the design of the shelf which has no left to right and front to back parallel sides help in the control of standing waves, the materials properties further aid vibration and resonance control.

The r33 Support System is supported on three main support cones which are made from a co-polymer, into which are fitted stainless steel spikes both materials working in harmony ,the spikes are fully adjustable by means of a supplied "T" bar, allowing you complete control over the levelling process.
